Easy Step-by-Step Instructions!

Beat together butter, sugar, eggs, lemon juice, lemon zest, and vanilla

Mix in the dry ingredients and buttermilk

Divide the batter between 16 cupcake liners and bake

Make the frosting by beating butter until smooth. On low speed, mix in powdered sugar, lemon juice, zest, heavy cream and salt

Let cupcakes cool then cut a small tunnel in the center of each one

Fill each cupcake with lemon curd and top with lemon buttercream frosting
