Holiday Stand Mixer Giveaway
**THIS GIVEAWAY IS CLOSED**
Happy Monday, friends! Since Christmas is just a few weeks away, I wanted to do something a little different today!
I can’t tell you how much it means to much to me when you take the time to make a recipe from my site, email me, leave a comment, or take a picture of a recipe you’ve made and send it to me. Without you this blog wouldn’t be possible and I’m truly grateful for all of you!
So this week I’m giving away three KitchenAid stand mixers! This post isn’t sponsored, it’s just my way of saying THANK YOU!
Three lucky winners will receive a KitchenAid Artisan® Series 5 Quart Tilt-Head Stand Mixer and a signed copy of my new cookbook, Live Well Bake Cookies. Each winner can pick the stand mixer color of their choice up to a $350 US value (and that’s in stock on KitchenAid’s website).
Giveaway Rules
In order to be eligible to win the prize listed above, you must be a US or Canadian resident and 18 years or older. Only one entry per person. This giveaway will close Thursday, December 9th, 2021 at 11:59 pm CST. I will randomly select the winners and notify the winners via email on Friday, December 10th, 2021. Each winner will have 72 hours to respond with their shipping address or a new winner will be chosen.
How To Enter
To enter this giveaway all you have to do is leave a comment on this post telling me which recipe or baking how-to post you would like to see on the blog next year.
P.S. The mixers and cookbooks will be shipped out as quickly as possibly to the winners, but it’s possible they may not arrive before Christmas.
**THIS GIVEAWAY IS CLOSED**
The winners of the giveaway are Donna Olson, Kristen Ferguson, and Lisa Robson.

Hi Danielle,
Something I have always wanted to try but have been too timid to attempt on my own is creating my own sourdough starter and developing a rhythm of making my own bread regularly. I have read about starting, “feeding”, and even sharing my own starter, but have worried about trying it without some friendly coaching.
I would love to know if there are other flours one can use for cookie recipes, not all-purpose, nor gluten free. Maybe Acorn flour, or hazelnut flour, and IF there’s another type of flour I haven’t heard of to use in place of regular type flours. I understand those types of flours cannot be used for sugar cookies, or shortbread…or can they?
Thank you in advance.
