Holiday Stand Mixer Giveaway
**THIS GIVEAWAY IS CLOSED**
Happy Monday, friends! Since Christmas is just a few weeks away, I wanted to do something a little different today!
I can’t tell you how much it means to much to me when you take the time to make a recipe from my site, email me, leave a comment, or take a picture of a recipe you’ve made and send it to me. Without you this blog wouldn’t be possible and I’m truly grateful for all of you!
So this week I’m giving away three KitchenAid stand mixers! This post isn’t sponsored, it’s just my way of saying THANK YOU!
Three lucky winners will receive a KitchenAid Artisan® Series 5 Quart Tilt-Head Stand Mixer and a signed copy of my new cookbook, Live Well Bake Cookies. Each winner can pick the stand mixer color of their choice up to a $350 US value (and that’s in stock on KitchenAid’s website).
Giveaway Rules
In order to be eligible to win the prize listed above, you must be a US or Canadian resident and 18 years or older. Only one entry per person. This giveaway will close Thursday, December 9th, 2021 at 11:59 pm CST. I will randomly select the winners and notify the winners via email on Friday, December 10th, 2021. Each winner will have 72 hours to respond with their shipping address or a new winner will be chosen.
How To Enter
To enter this giveaway all you have to do is leave a comment on this post telling me which recipe or baking how-to post you would like to see on the blog next year.
P.S. The mixers and cookbooks will be shipped out as quickly as possibly to the winners, but it’s possible they may not arrive before Christmas.
**THIS GIVEAWAY IS CLOSED**
The winners of the giveaway are Donna Olson, Kristen Ferguson, and Lisa Robson.
I was always scared of baking. (My mother never baked) so when my husband asked if I could make him bread pudding I just said will I will try!! So thank you for teaching me how to bake.still not really good but fair.I think I need a mixer to make bread ? I would love to learn how to make bread! Soooo scared to try. Thank you so much!!
I love all the variety of recipes you post! The tutorials are awesome too! I would love to see a recipe for Spumoni cookies ! I think international desserts would be fun !
I would love to make a yeast bread Kringle, but it looks intimidating. However if I could have a step by step video or tutorial I think I could eventually maseter it.
My wife loves the no bake cookies, and they are so easy to make. Thanks for the post on how to make them.
I would love to learn how to make the perfect French macaron!
I have always loved baking! My now 10 year old son has really gotten into cooking and baking the past couple of years, and he’s pretty good at it. He recently checked out a cookbook from his school library twice in a row and has cooked several tasty desserts from it! I think your book would be an AWESOME gift for him! So many people have already given great suggestions, but I would like to see a blog about which ingredients make which changes to a chocolate chip cookie recipe. For example, if you use more baking soda it makes the cookie fluffier. (I have no clue if that’s correct!)
A Rye bread. Something similar to Nature’s Own brand. I prefer homebaked and so far nothing has come close to that lovely bread. I use Frontier when I can’t find that, but I would much prefer to bake. It would be wonderful.
Hi so many great recipes in here my mouth is always watering ! Would love to see candy recipes in the NY.
I would love to learn how to make peppermint fudge! Also, I would love to see more no bake desserts for the warmer months when I don’t want to turn on my oven that heats the house up. Thank you and happy holidays!
I have already left one post & hope it’s OK to leave another as I really would like a chance to win one of the marvelous mixers. I have never had one in all my 81 years. I really enjoy making Bundt cakes with berries and lemon.
I would love to see a recipe for yummy shortbread cookies. ?
Hi Danielle:
I am so excited about this giveaway. I live in Canada and so often we are left out of contests.
That said, as for the giveaway and suggestions I can’t really think of anything.
I think your site has everything a beginner or experienced baker could need.
So hopefully I’ll still be included in the draw.
I enjoy the small batch recipes. Anything to reduce servings. We dont need 9 x 13s any more 🙂 He loves pastries! Thanks for sharing uour talent and skills!
Micayla
I would really enjoy some yeast bread recipes, baked donut recipes, muffins & Coffee Cake recipes. Love your site & your Beer Bread recipe is great! Thanks for posting so many wonderful recipes for us all to enjoy.
I’d love to see your take on a dough for grilled pizza! It’s kind of like a quick bread but the one I use gets hard to fast when grilling.
I love seeing new recipes pop up on my Instagram feed, everything always looks delicious. I enjoy baking all kinds of treats but I’m intimidated by bread, I’d love a tutorial for someone who has no idea how. Thanks for a chance at this amazing giveaway!
Made your apple pie recipe for Thanksgiving. Was the best apple pie I have made. Would love a recipe for Hurricane candy.
My husband has just learned he is diabetic. He loves his sweets and refuses to give them up. I would love to see more diabetic friendly baked goods.
I love all the recipes you make. I wanted to see if you could come up with a living that is a cool whip icing.
Danielle,
I’m new to baking and cooking and love looking to your recipes for new recipes and tips and tricks. I would love to see macaron recipes, or molded cookie recipes!
Everything looks yum. Yours are one of the only recipes that I try. Just continue doing what you do, cuz you do it well.
Hi Danielle!
I would love to see more breads! Focaccia, challah loaves, sourdough! I love your content and my go to account for baking needs!!
I have never made a cheese cake. It would be great for a how to make one.
I would love for a great, tasty cheese coffee cake that I can serve Christmas morning to be on your blog. Also Welsh Rarebit is an old family English tradition. I would love to find a recipe for the Holland Rusk which is like a light biscuit in the shape of an english muffin,..if that makes sense. We are having more and more trouble finding them, and I would love to make them fresh rather than running/calling stores! You sound like a nut!
I, and everyone I have baked for, have always loved every recipe I have made of yours. I would love to see a recipe and how-to post or video on a piecacken. They look very intimidating and I am sure you would make it look less intimidating. I would also love to see more recipes that are diabetic friendly but I am generally able to tweak many of the recipes so my husband can enjoy them.
Thank you!
I’m looking for a good yeast doughnut recipe so would love to see one here along with a good chocolate ganache recipe to dip them in!
My go to recipe is the Chewy Chocolate Chip Oatmeal cookies. I get rave reviews from friends and family. My neighbours’ kids even suggested I open a bakery she loves them so much. I have your cookbook and love it. The step by step instructions are helpful. It would be great if you could add some more “slightly healthy” cookies that still taste good. Thanks
You are the only cooking person I follow! I love the buttermilk pancake and biscuit recipes you gave us….. and many of the others. I just haven’t had time yet to try a bunch more of them.
I am wondering about several items and how to do them well:
1. Pecan pie
2. You probably don’t do much with baking Casseroles, but I am interested.
3. Sourdough – for pancakes and sourdough bread
4. Crème Brule
5. Healthy, gluten-free “breads” that actually taste good 🙂
I love trying new recipes, but I have a child who is allergic to dairy, peanuts, and most tree nuts. However, he can eat ALMONDS, which are really stone fruits! (I didn’t know that until Martha Stewart educated me.)
So please post more recipes that use plant-based milk like almond milk or oat milk, and other recipes with almond flour.
I was always in love with Italian cookies but intimidated by the amount of work it took to make them. Perhaps you would have a recipe for cucidati cookies and /or the italian sesame cookies with your ever so easy to follow instructions.
Your Italian cream is the bomb I have made it several times
I would love to see a recipe for Dutch apple pie. Thx
I would like more recipes for making bread. I am a novice when it comes to making bread and recipes can be
Intimidating with regards to making bread. My mother just recently passed and i don’t have any recipes from her for bread making. Would love to try!
