Holiday Stand Mixer Giveaway
**THIS GIVEAWAY IS CLOSED**
Happy Monday, friends! Since Christmas is just a few weeks away, I wanted to do something a little different today!
I can’t tell you how much it means to much to me when you take the time to make a recipe from my site, email me, leave a comment, or take a picture of a recipe you’ve made and send it to me. Without you this blog wouldn’t be possible and I’m truly grateful for all of you!
So this week I’m giving away three KitchenAid stand mixers! This post isn’t sponsored, it’s just my way of saying THANK YOU!
Three lucky winners will receive a KitchenAid Artisan® Series 5 Quart Tilt-Head Stand Mixer and a signed copy of my new cookbook, Live Well Bake Cookies. Each winner can pick the stand mixer color of their choice up to a $350 US value (and that’s in stock on KitchenAid’s website).

Hi Danielle,
I appreciate how you explain your way through a recipe. You make the instructions easily understandable!
Would like to see any baking recipes with grated carrots. We often have a bumper crop of garden carrots
so, any muffin, bar or cake recipe using carrots would be great! Thanks for sharing your time to make
baking fun and tasty! Merry Christmas
Would love to see your recipe for home made rolls! Thank you!
You provide the BEST recipes! I love to bake and try most of them. I’d love to see an easy recipe for making a great pie crust. I always have trouble with this and end up buying a pre-made one, but would love to make my own. It’s just always been such a hassle for me. Thank you for all that you do for us Danielle! I really appreciate you!
I love all of the recipes that you post. Another one of my favorite recipes is the Beer Bread, my mom used to make this often. My husband is diabetic and loves desserts. I would love to see maybe some alternatives for sugarfree recipes.
Love your easy to follow recipes.
My daughter has quit processed sugar and we were wondering if you have dessert recipes that do not use processed sugar or at least use little sugar.
How to use sourdough discard in a cookie recipe!
I bake my grand children their Birthday cakes. I have so much trouble piping flowers. I can not get the proper consistency for piping and how to properly pipe the different flowers. I would love to see a quick lesson of the ins and outs of making flowers please. Thank you Merry Christmas and may God Bless
This is my go- to website for baking! Thank you for explaining things so clearly and with so many tips and tricks for success! I would be interested to see anything apple— like apple cider doughnuts, any variation on scones (I love scones!) or brioche. How about biscotti?! I love all your ideas too, I get inspired by the suggestions in your emails. Thanks so much!
As I and my daughter are both prediabetics, my doctor has me on a Low carb and sugar free diet. I am interested in healthy recipes for cooking and baking. Especially healthy low carb bread recipes. I love your blog and have it as a shortcut on my desktop. Happy Holidays to you and your family!!
Hi there! I love your site! I struggle with glazing cookies. I want a glaze that hardens and does NOT go sticky, and I’d like to be able to draw a design on cookies with glaze. I just make a mess. What am I doing wrong?
i would like to learn how to make using one cake layer an ombre cake.
The most basic recipe of all time, banana pudding, I just can’t get it right, send help 🙂
I love everything you! I have your cookbook and use it a lot!!! I would love for you to teach me some candy recipes like divinity and fudge and truffles.♥️
I love your recipes! I only discovered you recently, but I’ve been SO impressed with your website and easy to read/understand/make recipes! 10/10
I would like to see if you have an tips for doubling or halving (and other baking mathematics) recipes. Like if a recipe calls for one egg and you’re halving a recipe, what is the best solution?
Love the baking tips you include with the recipes. I like to read ahead for the next holiday in order to plan to do some different takes for my family. Maybe some menu items that work well together BUT simply.
Thanks so much. Hope I am chosen for a mixer and cookbook, It’s such a great treat to dream about.
Steph
I absolutely love your blog! Thank you so much for all of the delicious recipes you post! By the way your carrot cake is one of the best I’ve ever tried! the very first time I came to meet my husbands family for thanksgiving, I made your delicious carrot cake recipe and everyone loved it so much! Asked for the recipe, got tons of sweet compliments, my fiancé wouldn’t stop smiling at me that day, that cake really helped me make a great first impression, so thank you! It’s going to be one in my family now for a very long time! It would be very nice to see a blog post about something so simple as in making a cake level, every time I make a cake I struggle in making it level and not having a lop sided cake after I’m done assembling, that would be so so helpful!! Also a how to on making a tart! They look so delicious but the crust looks so complicated to make, but with your help and tips and tricks I know I’d go for it!.
Can you include a post on baking in a convection oven please?
Hi Danielle,
I would love to see a recipe on flan. I have never been able to find a good recipe and your website is my go to for all my desserts.
I love to cook but not very good at baking. I am now interested in bread making. I get confused as to how to weigh flour. Any help would be appreciated.
Hi Danielle,
I would like to learn more about how to make croissants and chocolate croissants.
Thank you for a blog post that has been the best cooking tool on the internet!
I love your cookie recipes, especially the small batch recipes since my husband & I are empty nesters! I would love to see more recipes for small quantity sweet rolls such as kolaches, sticky buns, and so on. I’d especially love to see recipes for bakery goods like one sees in European bakeries (not so heavy on frosting but big on taste and texture).
I would love to see a recipe for a strawberry cake with strawberry frosting. Preferably using fresh strawberries in both. Too many of the strawberry cake recipes have jello as an ingredient. My husband asks for strawberry cake for his birthday many years so I have tried several recipes. I am still looking.
I would love to see more challenging cake recipes, is true that the regular flavors get boring after sometimes. To include some other options for filling and frosting that is not buttercream. Love your blog!!!!
I came across your website when I was looking for a recipe for a lemon blueberry bundt cake. It was my first time being adventurous and trying to make something like that from scratch. I brought it to a family party and everyone devoured it. Even though I was just a beginner your step by step instructions were so easy to follow and made me believe that anyone can do it. I also tried your zucchini bread recipe which was a huge hit at work! Your website is definitely a go to when I’m in the mood to bake. I’m interested in seeing a blueberry pie recipe on your website. Looking forward to seeing and trying more of your recipes next year.
You are my “go to” for any recipe That I want to make sure it will work the first time. AND it does! Thanks for your tried and tested recipes. Keep them coming. I would love a good recipe for a brown bread. Happy Holidays and Happy Baking!
Wow, I don’t know where to begin. You always seem to have so many great recipes and ideas to choose from. How about healthy breakfast recipes? That would be great to see in upcoming choices.
Thanks
Hi. I love your content, but I’d love to see some pizza with different dough recipes. Thank you.
My grandmother and mother would always make homemade doughnuts for the holidays so doughnut recipe would be good. Thanks for your recipes!
Hi Danielle! Your recipes lift my spirits and bring smiles to two adult children. Thank you for inspiring new bakers of every generation. It would be good to see yeast based coffee cake with cream cheese and sour cream center. Maybe fresh fruit coffee cakes recipes with streusel on top. My Mom made it weekly past her 90th birthday. She loved to bake.
I miss my aunts and uncles that taught us “old world” customs from Europe and the love of all that is handmade. Handmade is from the Heart. Your recipes are from your ❤️ to all of our hearts ❤️❤️❤️❤️ Many happy holidays to you Danielle.
