Holiday Stand Mixer Giveaway
**THIS GIVEAWAY IS CLOSED**
Happy Monday, friends! Since Christmas is just a few weeks away, I wanted to do something a little different today!
I can’t tell you how much it means to much to me when you take the time to make a recipe from my site, email me, leave a comment, or take a picture of a recipe you’ve made and send it to me. Without you this blog wouldn’t be possible and I’m truly grateful for all of you!
So this week I’m giving away three KitchenAid stand mixers! This post isn’t sponsored, it’s just my way of saying THANK YOU!
Three lucky winners will receive a KitchenAid Artisan® Series 5 Quart Tilt-Head Stand Mixer and a signed copy of my new cookbook, Live Well Bake Cookies. Each winner can pick the stand mixer color of their choice up to a $350 US value (and that’s in stock on KitchenAid’s website).
Giveaway Rules
In order to be eligible to win the prize listed above, you must be a US or Canadian resident and 18 years or older. Only one entry per person. This giveaway will close Thursday, December 9th, 2021 at 11:59 pm CST. I will randomly select the winners and notify the winners via email on Friday, December 10th, 2021. Each winner will have 72 hours to respond with their shipping address or a new winner will be chosen.
How To Enter
To enter this giveaway all you have to do is leave a comment on this post telling me which recipe or baking how-to post you would like to see on the blog next year.
P.S. The mixers and cookbooks will be shipped out as quickly as possibly to the winners, but it’s possible they may not arrive before Christmas.
**THIS GIVEAWAY IS CLOSED**
The winners of the giveaway are Donna Olson, Kristen Ferguson, and Lisa Robson.

Hi Danielle,
I would like to learn the secret to making meringue that doesn’t weep. My mother always made the most beautiful meringue. She passed in 2008 and I’ve not been able to get it like hers since her passing.
Hi Danielle, Love all you great recipes. I too enjoy baking like crazy. I would love to see more recipes for breakfast bars & or granola bars. Love those and think they would be a terrific addition with all varieties of add-ins. Nuts, chips, raisins, cranberries, etc. Can’t seem to come across any decent recipes for these yet. Thanks.
PS: Thanks for a chance!!

I would love to see candy making. I have an old friend’s recipe for never fail fudge and I have yet to make more than spoon fudge with it. It requires no candy thermometer but never manage to make it eatable without spoon.

I love cheesecake, but every time I make one, it cracks. Could you do a how-to on how to properly cook a cheesecake and avoid cracking. Along the same “cracking” lines, when I make a pumpkin roll (YOUR RECIPE!), it always cracks when I roll it. Tips to avoid cracking here, too, would be welcomed!

How can I make a good pie crust!
My mother use to bake cookies at Christmas that she called “Swedish Butter Cookies”. You put the dough on a cookie sheet, then made an indentation with your index finger and placed a piece of dried fruit in the indentation. Hope you might have a similar recipe in your repertoire.
Merry Christmas!!
How can I make a good pie crust?
I would love to see more “for two” bakes. I live with my 81 yr old mom and cooking for just two people is easy but can be tedious and boring when it’s the same thing all the time. We generally don’t eat leftovers and I hate having so many containers taking up the fridge. Thanks for the giveaway!!
We love your recipes!
Would love to see more no-bake desserts.
I love your cookie recipes and make several of them during the holidays. I would love to have a great chocolate cake, one that truly has a wonderful rich chocolate taste and stay moist beyond the first day.
Hello from Texas! I LOVE getting your emails and the variety of recipes. I would love to see something where you have a recipe then convert or tweak the recipe if using GF flour or Swerve, etc…Even though the GF flour blend I use says 1:1 ratio, I feel like sometimes something needs to be adjusted, even if just a little bit. Same when baking Sugar-free…if you know any tips and tricks for keeping the recipe and just tweaking as needed. Thanks so much 🙂
I would love a recipe and how to for pound cake for beginners. And also an easy German chocolate cake recipe.
Good afternoon Danielle ! I would love to see a recipe for Jamaican Rum Cake ! Thank you
Thank you for your wonderful posts and this amazing contest.
I want to know how to make Russian jam filled gingerbread, Pryanik.
Hope you have a very happy holiday season!
Cheers,
Anne
I love how simple you make your recipes and how delicious the results are. Your cookies have been some of my favorite. Your Chocolate Crinkle cookie tasted so close to the Cottage Cheese cookie, my favorite cookie that my Aunt made in her days, My family ate the Soft Snicker Doodle cookies faster than I could get the next sheet out of the oven but thankfully not many of my family like Butterscotch so I got to enjoy the majority of the Butterscotch cookies I made all to myself.
I always challenge myself when it comes to baking. I would love to see step by step on how to make Baked Alaska.
I would love to see spicy recipes- spicy chocolate cookies!
Your recipe for Soft Molasses Cookies is my family’s all time favorite and it’s closely followed by the Snowballs!
Hi Danielle! Could you post a recipe for a beautiful Yule log for Christmas? Some recipes look rather daunting – I am unsure about how to form the mushrooms on top. But I know you would do a beautiful Yule log! Thanks a million.
Thank-you Danielle for all you do! I love receiving these emails. I would love to learn how to bake/cook more meats. Things like steak, roast, ribs, chicken etc etc.
Thank-you!
