I would love to have a buttercream recipe using the new sweetex golden flex or alpine high ratio shortening since they are now trans fat free. I have a version similar to Sharon Zambito’s which is good but would to see another version. Some bakery stores suggest only using half the amount when using the alpine but don’t explain why and don’t care to share any real recipes for it. This to me as a home bakery is my biggest struggle. Sometimes it works and other times it’s way off. I would love a happy making buttercream recipe. Lol
Thank you for all your other recipes and blog.

Always excellent, easy to follow recipes. I agree that video, when appropriate, would be helpful, especially when specific procedures are required in a recipe.
I have inflammatory arthritis, so I would really appreciate some tasty treat recipes that counter the symptoms of this auto immune disease.

Every recipe I have tried of yours, turns out delicious. I am constantly telling others about you and your awesome recipes.
Hi, I recently returned to baking much to my husband’s delight. I was very ill for almost four months this past Spring. I spent my time watching cooking shows and reading blogs 24/7. Thanks for your hint about spooning out the flour as I’ve been scooping it for decades. Your recipes are well written and detailed and have helped me to be a better baker. I always look forward to receiving your emails with the latest yummy recipes. Thank you!!

Thanks for all your wonderful recipes! I would like to see any new recipes or tips for working with yeast…breads, rolls, etc. I don’t seem to have a great connection with YEAST! I get perturbed when I see the wonderful yeast- filled products some of my friends bake and I want to join them. Thanks again!

I absolutely love your blog. I make your recipes with my son William. He is almost 3 years old and has a severe nut allergy. Would love some ideas on ways to make some traditional deserts nut-free!
