Easy Step-by-Step Instructions!

Combine the egg yolks, granulated sugar, and salt in a  double-boiler and whisk constantly

Whisk the cold mascarpone and vanilla extract into the egg mixture

Beat the heavy whipping cream to medium-stiff peaks. Fold the whipped cream into the mascarpone egg mixture in batches until fully combined

Arrange half of the ladyfingers  in a single layer and cover them with half of the mascarpone mixture 

Add another layer of dipped ladyfingers. Spread the remaining mascarpone mixture over the ladyfingers and dust with cocoa powder

Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 8 hours before serving
